WHY OH WHY!

I have to take a turn today, I am appalled to say the least at the series of events going on in Nigeria from boko haram to air plane crash to a tanker crashing on the highway. Its like these people do not care about their citizens. Yesterday we lost 153 people in Dana air crash. It was such a sad day for many who lost families and friends and for people like me who even though I knew no one in that airplane, I was pained. I have just been thinking about the situation since yesterday. We need major help in Nigeria. How can you not value the lives of your citizens? How can you not be concerned that your decisions might affect other people in a negative way? How can you be comfortable in your home thinking yes! I am making money at the expense of other people's lives? It beats me what the government has turned and is turning the country into. People are blaming the citizens who were taking pictures at the scene...yes I blamed them ohh..asking why they could not do something but after everything I thought, the government is not ready to die for these people so why would the citizens risk their lives. The kind of example they are laying down is appalling. Famililes were lost, mothers lost children, children have been rendered fatherless, motherless or orphans, wives rendered widows and husbands rendered widowers. When are we going to wake up and see that we need change in the country? Some are cursing the Indians that sold a faulty plane to us. They know they can't try such in the US, UK or Canada because they can go to jail for such. They know how corruption is running in the veins of these people. These western people trip me. The way they are at alert and on stand by incase of any emergency, I respect them. All these funds they are hoarding, they won't carry it when they die oo...they came to the world empty and they shall go back empty. I am just sad at the innocent lives that were lost. No sort of value for life, everyone is just looking for what will benefit them without considering the next person. May greed not be the last of those people that claim to have our interests as citizens at heart. May God help us and may he heal the hearts of the families that lost people and to the victims of the crash...may their souls rest in perfect peace! Amen!
