I decided to do a post on why i chose the
"healthy lifestyle" and show you guys how i looked before and how i look now! I was a very fat child as a child up until my teenage years. It runs in the family !
<- that's me in the pink/white striped shirt months before i started to lose weight (i think in march?)
So in May, i graduated from high school and i was home for 4 months! And one day it hit me. I was going to begin university in the fall of 2010 and in my mind i was like "Yo! you can't go to uni looking like this". And so my journey began !
To be honest w/ you, i started of literally starving my self (not the best way to lose weight)! I used to go to the gym and eat a slice of bread each day w/ fruit smoothie (NOT ADVISABLE!)
But i did lose weight! and i started liking the way i looked! So by September 2010, I think i had dropped err 4 sizes? Not sure!
September 2010
I actually didn't plan on losing this much weight. It gradually happened! I was a newbie at university so i was bombarded w/ work load (science student) and my eating habit changed. Food wasn't really on my mind anymore! It was the last thing on my mind tbh. And sweet things and oily things just didn't do it for me. The transition for me wasn't that bad because i wasn't too dependent on oily things and fast foods and the likes of it.
First year of university had me looking like this!

By April 2011, i dropped 8 sizes!
I felt better in my skin!
I love pictures now.. I hated pictures before.

In general, the weight loss journey for me wasn't that difficult but just meant a lot of dedication.
I work out most days not to lose weight but to keep fit.

I really want to lose weight, just 1 or 2 dress size, but it feels impossible,
Anyways, I am super proud of you.
Lol.
Deletethat's not biola! it's her sister
thank you!
nothing is impossible! speaking from experience
you just have to really dedicate yourself to it and want it real bad.
Eat right! Exercise right (don't have to go to the gym! You can walk around, Jog, swim)
drop your bad habits and you're good to go..
