HI

Hello everyone, welcome to my blog! My name is Biola aka Miss bee. Currently doing a masters program in public health at the University of Sheffield (honestly can't wait to be done). I am a very young girl in age and at heart...LOL! Come from a family of nine  (6 kids, one grandchild and the parents) *sigh* and I am the first girl and child :D. I was inspired to start my blog through a number of things. First I was reading a book and it spoke about finding your talent, being versatile basically doing something that is of interest to you apart from your regular 9-5 professional job and I sat down with my friend  reflecting on this issue and was like I need to find my talent. I make hair but I do not love it so that was ruled, I thought hard and all of a sudden my friend (bless her heart) was like do something on healthy lifestyle and I was like yes! that's it. Basically I used to be an american size 9 and I was comfortable in my skin. Fast forward to some years later, I had my son and voila went up to a size 12 after birth and I was like NOOO I have to get back in shape. Finally started working on that 9 months after my son was born and gradually was dropping off the pounds  (I tell you it was not easy at all). In the process of going back to my regular size 9, I went even further down and right now I am an American 4. It took a lot of handwork and determination to be where I am at now. I also think I inspired the people around me to loose weight and embark on this wonderful journey of living a healthy lifestyle. My younger sister who used to be on the chubby side as well got on the program after seeing the progress I made in the first few months and right now she looks and feels gorgeous. I have had friends that buzz me asking me what sort of meals to eat, what to stay away from and how to enjoy food and keeping calories in check. All these bits and pieces led to an inspiration to start this blog. I just want to reach out to people and let them know that they have a chance at changing their eating habits without missing out on the good things of life in terms of food. Apart from that, the world is fast changing and many of us are used to grabbing fast food especially when you live in the western world where you do a 9-5 and so tired to cook after dealing with the stress from work and the next you think is fast food. I will try to carry everyone along on the sort of things I eat and also recipes. I would  also share posts on other articles relating to healthy eating. I hope you guys enjoy my blog :)
