Working out

Hello everyone,

How are you doing? I hope the week went great. I just wanted to update you guys real quick. I recently started working out. I once said I did not work out in a previous post, but recently I decided to add working out to my healthy lifestyle.

A number of things triggered this decision:
  • Firstly, I started on this journey to revamp myself. Basically I am getting closer to God, taking care of me more, bonding with my son more, and all that good stuff;
  • Secondly, I need to tone up. After loosing weight, I had a bit of fat on my tummy due to the baby. Though my stomach went down but the extra skin is still there. I consoled myself saying I don't expose my tummy so I won't bother about  it . I mean its not bad but it could be better than it is now.

        Recently I watched a video of a girl on youtube who had a baby and also had the same flabby thing going on. She lost all the weight but the tummy was still there. She started working out and saw results. This motivated me and I decided to take charge and get rid of the flabs. I do not like going to the gym and getting on machines i.e treadmill, bicycle, and co, its boring to me. I like to have fun while working out.  I started with Sean T's insanity workout, that guy is crazy but he will work you out with his routine while having fun. I had to stick with youtubers who upload videos but most of them did not upload the whole DVD routine. I got his hip hop abs workout DVD which I just got in the mail and excited to start. I am also incorporating zumba, yoga, pilates and more stuff that would help me keep this flab in check....lol

Exercise is important in adopting a healthy lifestyle. Doing stuff as simple as walking for 20 - 30 mins in a day is a great way to start. If you are like me, it is okay to ditch the treadmills and bicycles and get on with the fun stuff like zumba, pilates and yoga and trust me it works you out, no kidding.

I would like to know what form of exercise routine you guys enjoy the most to keep in shape. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read, I appreciate.

Until next time guys,
Its not miss Bee, its mummy...xxx
