How is it going? I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. I just wanted to share some healthy breakfast ideas. I know it can be challenging coming up with different healthy options to eat for breakfast. It might seem like options are limited but there are so many things that can be eaten to get our bodies to a great start for the day.
- whole wheat pancake with turkey sausage/bacon;
- omelette made with veggies and egg white;
- whole wheat buns with veggie/turkey patties and veggies;
- fruit salad;
- cereal (all bran flakes, special k);
- oats (preferably the non-flavored ones);
- whole wheat toasts with peanut butter or jam;
- whole wheat bagel with jam or peanut butter;
- sandwich with lean turkey breast or roast beef with tomatoes, lettuce;
- pita with veggies and chicken breast;
- burrito with scrambled eggs, low fat cheese, and veggies;
- fruit smoothie;
- scrambled egg with fruits or favourite side;
There are lots of options you can go for when it comes to breakfast. Also, you can customize the meals by combining different things together every now and then so you don't get bored sticking to the same meal. For instance, you could do scrambled eggs and bread, then decide to do scrambled eggs with a side of fruit and a cup of tea. Remember it is not about just cutting out stuff you like completely. Though sacrifices have to be made but you can find a way to make a healthier version of the food you love. The whole idea is to adopt a healthier lifestyle so its best to put that effort into making sure you give your meal the extra factor.

- Bowl of oatmeal
- Omelette with veggies
- Croissant and boiled egg
- Fruit smoothie
I'm also not a fan of bread as it can fill me up toooo much.
I agree with you, I do bread like once in 2 weeks. I got mini buns instead which is much lighter.
